How do I use the NewsFlash Scroller CSS suffix?

Adding the module CCS suffix to your templates CSS file... (template_css.css).

With the new version of NewsFlash Scroller (for Mambo 4.5.1) you can add your own style attributes (elements), but you will need to modify your current templates CSS file and/or all other CSS files of the templates you plan on using.

By default, the CSS tag suffix is not used, but can be changed if you like (parameters section of this module).

For this example we will be using the nscroller CSS suffix. This suffix is appended to the end of the table.moduletable td class and the result is shown below.

If you change this parameter to use a CSS suffix, then you will have to change the table.moduletable td class to match. This is done by adding another table.moduletable td  class with your suffix added to it (see below).

The example below shows how the class will look if we used nscroller as our CSS suffix (nscroller):

table.moduletablenscroller td {

}

You can just copy and paste the above class into your CSS file and add whatever CSS elements you want to this class. This should allow you to make simple changes to the scroller. Don't forget to edit the "NScroller Class Suffix:" (parameters section for this module) to match the suffix you added to your CSS FILE. That would be nscroller for the example shown above.

Note: The suffix capability in the NewsFlash Scroller Pro needs some work to be fully compatible with the new module suffix feature of Mambo 4.5.1. I didn't find any limitations that would not allow for any modifications you may need to make, while testing this functionality. But this doesn't mean that you won't experience some problems.

Please report any problems at the forum.
