Rating System
A rating system offers a way of gauging the skills needed for a certain job. The Rating System here at Webraydian is set up to be a safeguard against using the information offered here in a way that could break your Mambo site. We don't want that to happen, do we?

What's Required
Most of the information covered on Webraydian deals with Mambo CMS Hacks, Tweaks and FAQs. So a running Mambo CMS website (4.5 versions) is required. It's also a good idea to have some basic understanding of HTML, CSS, XML, MySQL DB, PHP scripting language, JAVA or JavaScript, the use of FTP clients and website management will also come-in-handy. In some cases, a solid knowledge of one or more of the areas mentioned above will be required.

Rating System Breakdown
The system is broken down into five levels of do-ability, where the lower the number the easier the job. The descriptions offered below are not meant to be a precise list of skills or requirements, but more of a generalized non-descriptive approach to what you can expect. Anyway, see below for a more non-descriptive description of each level.

Levels Description
1. No Brainer
No Brainer
Anyone that's installed and is operating a Mambo CMS should have no trouble completing these No Brainers! No special skills other than webmastering required.
2. Breezer
Breezer
Often, we know how to do things...we just don't know...we know how. The Breezers are those things that once you've been introduced to it it's something that you probably knew...just didn't know you knew it. Might begin to touch areas of a Mambo install that some webmasters will feel uncomfortable dealing with.
3. Tweaker
Tweaker
Sometimes, we just want it the way we want it! This is the first level that may or may not give you trouble, but if trouble could happen...this is where it starts. A solid understanding of multiple web languages may be required here.
4. Hacker
Hacker
OK...you haven't broke it yet, but you're tryin'. This is the area where you get to try out your skill sets on the CMS of your choice. A strong mixed set of skills will be needed here and skills that fall under the previously mentioned areas above [CSS, PHP, MySQL, etc.] will be more useful here than Mambo skills.
5. Wizard
Wizard
When the time comes that I can offer something to this level a description will follow :).

Important! Please use the Tweaks and Tips found on Webraydian for informational needs or as a means to make your Mambo experience more enjoyable. If you choose to actually make changes that may break Mambo, then please commit those changes to a test install, before making changes to a live Mambo site.
